FLATFILEphotography will open Curators Choice featuring highlights from a variety of the gallery's photographers. CURATORS CHOICE will run through Saturday, May 30. On Friday, May 7, at 6pm, there will be a Directors Tour of the exhibit, at which the curators will speak on the images on the exhibition.

The exhibit, curated by Director Susan Aurinko and Assistant Director Aaron Ott, will be a compendium of images by approximately 30 of the gallery's photographers, and will include black and white, color, digital, and alternate process photography. Aurinko and Ott have chosen images from a variety of artists that are not only their personal favorites, but include images that have been popular with both viewing and collecting audiences over the gallery's four year history. Included are images by Barbara Crane and Lucien Clergue, as well as images from gallery artists hailing Europe and from around the United States, and images by many of the gallery's gifted young emerging photographers.
